Read Chapter 14, section 3 and complete the section review questions with "A" quality answers.  

We will have a quiz over the section on Tuesday, November 4 using the questions from Quizlet.


First Project of the Year

Choose a topic of your choosing in American History between 1861-1880  Your topic must be centered on that period. Choose a very specific topic, and make sure that you stay focused.

Part 1

Prepare a hyperlinked report explaining the key elements of your topic:

-Who

-What

-Where

-When

-Why

-How

The length of the hyperlinked project will vary, but it should not exceed 5 pages.

Part 2

Prepare a 5-10 minute visual presentation for the class.  The presentation needs to be presentable on the computer, and can be recorded and played to the class.  Regardless of whether or not it is recorded, you will need to answer questions from both classmates and Mr. Lockwood to prove that you have mastered the materials.  Your presentation will be videoed in class.

Project topics are due to me no later than Monday, October 27 at 6 PM.  Topics will be taken on a first come, first served basis.

The completed written portion is due November 14 by 6 PM.  The presentations to class will begin November 17 (Liam will go first to set an example) and will be assigned no more than two days in advance.

Read Chapter 12, section 3 and complete all of the section review questions with "A" answers.

We will have a quiz over the section using the questions posted on Quizlet on Monday, September 22. 2014.

Due September 12, 2014

Read Chapter 12, section 2 and complete all of the section review questions with "A" answers.

We will have a quiz over the section using the questions posted on Quizlet on Friday, September 14, 2014.
